It expands on how three serial killers in particular, Yavuz Yapıcıoğlu, Ali Kaya and Süleyman Aktaş, committed various crimes of vile natures, and while initially arrested by security forces, succeeded in their efforts to get released from prison and mental institutions. This research paper explores the circumstance that ties these serial killers together: all three of them managed to convince the courts that they were ready to be released, only to continue their murder rampage. This fact had repercussions that significantly affected Turkish society.Bu makale Türkiye’nin adalet sistemi ve yargı sistemlerinin ruh hastalıklarına tanıdığı avantajlardan yararlanan seri katilleri anlatmaktadır. Özellikle alçak suçlara teşebbüs etmiş ve güvenlik güçleri tarafından tutuklanıp hapishanelerden ve akıl hastanelerinden kaçmayı başarmış üç seri katil: Yavuz Yapıcıoğlu, Ali Kaya ve Süleyman Aktaş, üzerine yoğunlaşır. Bu makale, bu seri katilleri birbirine bağlayan şartları incelemektedir. Bu üç katil suç işlemeye devam edebilmek için mahkemeyi serbest bırakılmaya hazır olduklarına ikna edebilmiştir. Bu olaylar Türk toplumundan çokça tepki toplamıştır.16 pages.EnglishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/Judicial systemMental institutionsMental illnessesSerial killerPrisonTurkish courtCrimesYargı sistemiRuh hastalıkları hastaneleriRuh hastalıklarıSeri katilCezaeviTürk mahkemesiSuçlarSerial killers on the run: the Exploitation of the judicial system by prominent Turkish serial killersStudent ProjectSPB4733
