It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 12-13).Bu araştırmada, 1993'te kurulan Ankara Arçelik Bulaşık Makinesi Fabrikası'nın kuruluş aşamasından günümüze kadarki gelişimi araştırıldı. Araştırma kapsamında ilk olarak Türkiye'nin 90'lar öncesindeki beyaz eşya imalatı ve fabrikanın açılışına değin piyasadaki talep değişimleri hakkında bilgiler edinildi. Fabrikanın kuruluş aşaması incelendi. Fabrikanın açılışının ülke ve bölgeye etkileri ele alındı. İlerleyen yıllarda fabrikada yaşanan değişiklikler ve üretim hacmindeki büyümeyle iyileşmeler araştırıldı. Fabrikanın kuruluş döneminde ve ilk yıllarında görev alan çalışanlarla yapılan görüşmeler başta olmak üzere sözlü ve yazılı kaynaklardan faydalanılarak araştırma tamamlandı.In this study, the development of Ankara Arçelik Dishwasher Plant, which was founded in 1993, was investigated from the time of its establishment to the present day. Firstly in the scope of this research, the production of white goods in Turkey prior to the 90's and the changes in the demands of the market were explored. The establishment stage of the plant was examined. The impact of the opening of the factory had on the region and the country was discussed. The changes which occurred in the plant over the course of the succeeding years, the growth and improvements of the production volume were researched.
