It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 18-19).Deneyimli ses sanatçısı ve Gençlik Korosu şefi Serbülent Yasun’un kişisel ve profesyonel hayatını ele alan bu makalede, 1960’tan 1990’lı yıllara kadar kendisinin tanıklık ettiği Türk koro kültürü ve Halk müziğinin gelişimine ışık tutulmaktadır. Yasun’la yapılan röportajla birlikte Yasun’un çocukluk ve gençlik yılları, koroya girişi ve koro şefliği ile devam eden görevi kapsamında biyografik bir stil izlenmektedir. Yasun, Türk Halk Müziğinin içinden yetkili bir ses olarak Türkiye’deki koro ve radyo kültürleri hakkındaki bilgi ve tecrübelerinin yanı sıra bir ses sanatçısı olarak ilerlediği yöndeki başarıları dolayısıyla araştırma konusu edinilmiştir.In this article which discusses the personal and professional life of the experienced vocal artist and Gençlik Choir choirmaster Serbülent Yasun, the improvement of Turkish choir culture and folk music from 1960’s to 1990’s are shed light upon. Within the scope of Yasun’s childhood and teenage years, him joining the choir, and continuing with his occupation as a choirmaster, a biographical style is pursued alongside an interview with Yasun.
