It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 24-25).1990’lı yılların başında daha herhangi bir hukuki düzenlemesi bulunmamasına rağmen özel radyolar ortaya çıkmaya başladı. Meraklı insanlar, kurum, kuruluş ve vakıflar özel radyo açmak için ilgi sahibiydiler. Fakat, radyo açmak ve işletmek o kadar da kolay değildi, teknik yetersizlik ve ekonomik sorunlar bu durumun başında bulunuyordu. Kırıkkale’de yayın yapmış olan Diriliş FM örneği üzerinden radyonun kuruluşun, radyo işletmedeki zorluklar, yayında karşılaşılan genel ve günlük sorunlar dönemin çalışanlarının deneyimleri ve hikayeleri ile zenginleştirilerek incelenmiştir. Bu özel radyonun kuruluş amaçları ve yöresel kültüre olan karşılıklı etkileşimleri ele alınmıştır. Son olarak da lokal radyoların popülerliğini kaybetme nedenleri tartışılmıştır.At the start of the 1990’s era, even when there were not any legal arrangements about the matter, private radio stations started to emerge. Curious people, institutions, organizations and foundations were interested in opening a private radio station. However, opening and maintaining a radio station is not an easy task, technical incompetence and economic problems were the main reasons. Integrating the examples from a radio station that broadcasted in Kırıkkale, Diriliş FM, the process of establishing a radio station, the challenges of maintaining and managing it, general and daily problems of such radio stations will be discussed with the knowledge, experience and the stories of the employees that worked on this radio station enriching the research. The founding purpose of this radio station and its mutual interaction with the local culture will be examined.
