It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 14).Ali Gökçe’nin hayatını anlatacağımız bu çalışmada ilk olarak Ali Gökçe’nin hayatında dair kısa bir bilgi vermek büyük önem taşır. Ali Gökçe 1932 yılında dünyaya gelmiştir. Ailesinin teşviği üzerine köy enstitüsüne başlar. Burada öğretmenlik yolunda ilk adımlarını atar ve bu konuda lisansını tamamlar. Daha sonrasında mezun olduktan sonra ilk görev yeri olan Çöplü köyüne atanır. Burada çalıştıktan sonra köy enstitüleri kapatılana kadar sırasıyla Eskiyapar köyü, Yerköy, Sarıağaç köyü ve Başıbüyüklü köyünde görev alır. Köy enstitüleri kapatıldıktan sonra ailesiyle beraber Ankara’ya yerleşen Ali Gökçe öğretmenlik hayatına burada 18 yıl kadar devam eder. Daha sonrasında 1977 yılında emekli olur. Ali Gökçe’nin hayatında büyük bir yer kaplayan köy enstitülerine bu araştırmada ağırlık verilecektir.It is of great importance that we give some information about Ali Gökçe in this paper as it will be about his life. Ali Gökçe was born in 1932. After his family encourages him to get an education, he starts to go to the village institute that is in his area. He takes the steps necessary to become a teacher there and graduates. After his graduation he started teaching in the village of Çöplü. Later, he worked at the village of Eskiyapar, Yerköy, village of Sarıağaç and finally village of Başıbüyüklü. After the village institutes are shut down by the government, Ali Gökçe settles in Ankara with his family and continues teaching there for 18 more years. Then in 1977 he retired from teaching.
