It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 19-20).1923'te Cumhuriyetin ilanı ile birçok konuda köklü değişikliklere gidilmiştir. 1 Mart 1927'de Konya'da kurulan Gazi Orta Muallim Mektebi, 25 Mart 1927'de, Ankara'ya taşınıp ismi Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsü olarak değişmiştir. Birinci Ulusal Mimarlık Döneminin bir ürünüdür ve mimarı Mimar Kemalettin Bey'dir. Bina mimarî açıdan Birinci Ulusal Mimarlık döneminin son eseri olması sebebiyle oldukça önemlidir. Temeli 8 Ağustos 1927'de bir tören ile atılan Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsü binası çok geniş bir arsaya inşa edilmiştir. Yüksek okul öğrenimini ücretsiz vermiştir ve bu Türkiye Cumhuriyeti eğitim sistemine çok katkıları olmuştur.In 1923, with the proclamation of the Republic, many changes were made regarding subjects such as education. Gazi Middle School School was founded on March 1, 1927 in Konya and moved to Ankara on March 25, 1927. Gazi Education Institute belongs to the First National Architecture period and its architect is Kemalettin Bey. As the building is the last work of the First National Architecture period, it is fairly important. Gazi Education Institute building, the foundation of which was laid with a ceremony on August 8, 1927, is a building built on a very large plot.
