It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 21-22).Bu makalede, okuyucunun kafasında genel bir taslak oluşturmak amacıyla kuruluşundan (1964) doksanlı yıllara kadar TRT’nin genel yapısı özetlenmiş, amacı ve izlediği Türkçe politikaları anlatılmıştır. Bahsi geçen yıllarda TRT spikerlerinin nasıl yetiştiği (sınavlar, eğitimler, tecrübeler vs.) araştırılmış, örneklerle ortalama bir TRT spikerinin profili oluşturulmuştur. Ardından, TRT’nin Türkçe politikaları ve TRT spikerlerinin Türkçeyi kullanımının özellikle Türkçe öğreniminde yazılı olarak öğrenilemeyecek konuşma diline yaptığı etkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonunda Türkçeyi oldukça etkin kullanan TRT spikerlerinin nasıl yetiştiği ve standart kabul edilebilecek bir konuşma dili oluşturulmasına yaptıkları katkıların ortaya koyulması hedeflenmiştir.In this article, in order to create a general outline in the minds of the reader, the general structure of TRT from its establishment (1964) to the nineties is summarized, its purpose and the Turkish language policies it followed are explained. How TRT announcers were trained in the aforementioned years (exams, trainings, experiences, etc.) was researched and the profile of an average TRT announcer was created with examples. Then, TRT's Turkish policies and the effects of TRT announcers' use of Turkish on spoken language, which cannot be learned in written form, were analyzed.
