It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Spor hayatına atletizm ile başlayan Rıdvan Dilmen sonradan daha çok sevdiği futbola yöneldi. Kariyeri boyunca birçok takımda oynayan ve milli takımda ülkesini temsil eden Dilmen, yaşadığı kronik sakatlıklardan ötürü futbolculuk hayatı bitmesine rağmen teknik direktörlük ve futbol yorumculuğu yaparak sporun aktif bir şekilde içinde kalmaya devam etti. Bu raporda; Dilmen'in futbola olan bağlılığı, futbol kariyeri boyunca gösterdiği performansı, Türk futboluna olan katkısı vurgulanmakta ve onun futbol dünyasına olan etkisi ortaya koyulmaktadır.During the period when interest in soccer increased in Turkey, Rıdvan Dilmen's soccer career started in Nazillispor in 1977 and continued until his retirement from Fenerbahçe in 1996. Rıdvan Dilmen, who started his sports life with athletics, later turned to soccer, which became his passion. Dilmen, who played in many teams throughout his career and represented his country in the national team, continued to remain actively involved in sports by working as a coach and soccer commentator, although his soccer career ended due to chronic injuries.
