It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 17-18)1960’lı yıllarda Bulgaristan’da yaşayan ve Türkiye’ye göç etmek isteyen Emine Bilgin, hükümetin ağır baskıları nedeniyle göç etmesine izin verilmemiştir. Küçük yaşta sevmeden evlendirildiği kocasının onu aldatması ve altında bulunduğu ağır rejim baskıları sebebi ile iltica etme kararı almıştır. Emine Bilgin Türkiye’ye göç ettikten sonra fazlasıyla zorluk çekmiştir. Daha sonrasında Türkiye’de evlenerek Türk vatandaşı olduktan sonra işçi olarak Almanya’ya gitmiştir. Bu süreçte kardeşi Yusuf Öztürk’ün siyasi suçlama nedeniyle tutuklandığını öğrenmiştir. Almanya’da Uluslararası Af Örgütü ile iletişime geçerek örgütün yardımı ile hem erkek kardeşi için hem de kızının yanına gelebilmesi için çaba sarf etmiştir. Daha sonra tüm ailesi ile Türkiye’ye dönmüş ve yaşamına burada devam etmiştir.Emine Bilgin, who lived in Bulgaria in the 1960s and wanted to immigrate to Turkey, could not emigrate due to heavy pressure. She does not want to endure the heavy regime pressures she is already under after her husband, whom she married at a young age without loving her, cheated on her, and she decides to seek asylum. Emine Bilgin had a lot of difficulties after migrating to Turkey. She married in Turkey and became a Turkish citizen. Then she moved to Germany as a worker. Later, she learned that her brother Yusuf Öztürk was arrested due to political accusations. Contact is being made for her brother and daughter with Amnesty International in Germany, and efforts are being made for her brother and daughter.
