It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu yaşanan olayların izinde, bizler bu araştırmamızda, 1974 Kıbrıs Barış Harekatı’nın neden başladığı, nasıl devam ettiği, nasıl sonuçlandığı, ekonomik, sosyokültürel, diplomatik etkilerini ve o esnada yerel halktan, Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti’nde doğmuş, büyümüş ve barış harekatı ile direkt olarak ilişkisi olan Şengül Yılmaz’ın savaş tanığı ve bir kadın olarak hayatının savaştan önceki, savaş esnasında ve savaştan sonraki hayatının nasıl değiştiğinin üzerindeki etkileri inceleyeceğiz.People have always been the ones who have suffered the most from war throughout history, as well as the ones who have been forced to endure its full victimization. The war forced many Turkish Cypriots who had resided in Cyprus prior to 1974 to leave their homes, countries of origin, and future lives behind.
