It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 30-32).Türkiye Turing ve Otomobil Kurumu (TTOK) 1923 yılında kurulduğundan itibaren ülkeye turizm, ulaşım, kültür gibi alanlarda pek çok hizmet vermiş bir dernek. Bu yazıda bu derneğin 1960’lardan sonra yaptığı çalışmalar daha fazla yer kaplarken kuruluşundan itibaren olan önemli olaylar ve yaptıkları çalışmalar da es geçilmeyecek. Ayrıca kurumda çalışmış olan önemli insanlardan da bahsettik. Örneğin İstanbul hakkında pek çok kitabı olan ve İstanbul’un kültürel mirasını korumak için pek çok şey yapmış olan Çelik Gülersoy.Since 1923, the year which is the establishment year of the association, Türkiye Turing ve Otomobil Kurumu (TTOK) has been serving the country in areas tourism, transportation, etc. In this research, the majority of the mentioned works will be in the time interval from 1960 until now. However, the earlier works of the association will not be ignored and will be mentioned.
