It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 16).Kemençe, ülkemizde, özellikle Karadeniz Bölgesi’nde, yüzyıllarca geçmişi olan, köklü bir geleneğin çalgısıdır. Bu bağlamda bölgedeki farklı kültürlerin kemençeye ve icrasına yönelik etkisi kaçınılmazdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, kemençenin tarih içinde geçirdiği evreleri, kültürlere olan katkısını ve Türk müziğindeki yerini ve önemini anlatmaktır. Tarihe adlarını yazdırmış kemençe icracılarının yanı sıra, günümüzde tanınan, önemli işlere imza atmış kemençe icracısı Necati Tüfekçi’nin kemençe ile ilgili bilgi ve düşüncelerine makalede yer verilecektir.The kemanche is an instrument of a deep-rooted tradition with centuries of history in our country, especially in the Black Sea Region. In this context, the influence of different cultures in the region on the kemanche and its performance is inevitable. The aim of this study is to explain the stages of the kemanche in time, its contribution to cultures and its place and importance in Turkish music.
