It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 16-17).Yapmış olduğumuz araştırmada, ilk olarak mikro heykelcilik sanatının dünya genelindeki ve Türkiye’deki etkileri ayrı ayrı incelenecektir. Bu kısımda genel olarak mikro heykelcilik sanatı, bu sanatı icra etmek için kullanılan yöntemler ve mikro heykelciliğin dünyadaki örnekleri alt başlıklarından bahsedilecektir. Ardından, mikro heykelciliğin dünyadaki 3 temsilcisinden biri olan Necati Korkmaz’ın hayatına odaklanılacak ve Necati Korkmaz’ın çocukluğu ve mikro heykelcilik sanatı ile tanışma süreci anlatılacaktır. Daha sonra ise Korkmaz’ın sanat hayatı ve tecrübe ettiği olaylar üzerinden kamuoyunun bu sanata olan ilgisi ve bakış açısı incelenecektir.In this research, the effects of micro sculpture arts on the global perspective and on Turkey will be examined seperately at the first stage. In this part; the art of micro sculpture, methods that are used to perform this arts and examples of micro sclupture in the world will be mentioned. After that, life of Necati Korkmaz, who is one of the three representatives of micro sculpture in the world, will be focused. In this part of the study, childhood of Necati Korkmaz and the process of meeting with the art of the micro sculpture will be explained.
