Bu geziyi, iki gün süren Libya ziyaretinde yaşanan gelişmeler kayda değer hale getirmiştir. Ziyaret esnasında heyetin yolculuk problemleri, Kaddafi’nin davranışları ve Türkiye’nin iç-dış politikasına ters düşen ağır sözler sarf etmesi Türk heyetini zor durumda bırakmıştır. Çoğu kaynağın iddialarına göre Kaddafi’nin ithamlarına karşılık Başbakan Erbakan’ın yeterince karşılık vermemesi dönemin medyasından ve muhalefetinden büyük tepki toplamıştır. Araştırmamızda yaşanan bu krizin altında yatan sebepler, krizin farklı kaynaklardan açıklamaları ve kriz sonrası farklı tarafların iddiaları incelenecektir. In 1996, the Prime Minister of that period, Necmettin Erbakan, went on a trip shortly after his presidency to North Africa which included Libya as well. The events that happened during the two days long Libya visit made this trip worth researching. In the course of the Libya visit, Turkish committee had problems reaching the meeting destination. Moreover, Gaddafi’s frivolous-unprofessional behaviors and his words that opposed Turkey's domestic and foreign policies left the Turkish committee in a tough spot. According to multiple sources, Prime Minister Erbakan could not respond properly to Gaddafi’s words which created a backlash from the Turkish media and Turkish opposition. In our research, we explored the reasons behind this crisis, explanation of the crisis from multiple sources and allegations from both the government, media and the opposition.20 pagesTurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/Muammer KaddafiNecmettin ErbakanLibyaÇadır kriziÇadır krizi: 6 Ekim 1996 Erbakan-Kaddafi görüşmesiStudent ProjectSPB3649
