It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 16).Bu araştırma, Türkiye’de 90’lı yıllardaki rock müzik ve Türk gençliği arasındaki ilişkiyi konu almaktadır. Araştırmanın ilk kısmında 90’lar Türkiye’sinin genel özellikleri ve rock müziğin Türkiye’deki başlangıcı ve sonrasındaki ilerlemesi incelenecektir. Sonrasında 90’lardaki Türk gençliğinin özellikleri ve rock müzik ile gençlik arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın üçüncü kısmında 90’larda Türkiye’deki rock müzik sektörü ve rock müziğin öncüleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Son olarak rock müzik ve siyaset ilişkisi incelenerek rock müzik ile gençlik arasındaki bağlantı çeşitli yönlerden değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırmamıza bilgi sağlamak için Yeni Türkü grubunun klavyecisi Erkin Hadimoğlu ve radyocu Hakan Tamar ile görüşülmüştür.In this study, the correlation between rock music and Turkish youth will be analyzed. In the first part of the study, the general features of the period of the 1990s in Turkey and the beginning of rock music in Turkey will be examined.Following this, the characteristics of the Turkish youth in the 90s and the relationship between rock music and the youth are researched. In the third part of the study, information about the rock music industry in Turkey in the 90s and the pioneers of rock music in that period is given.
