It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. It is important in terms of being in an significant position in the geography of Turkey, having a large ecological environment in the past, and losing this ecological life and biodiversity is an important issue for the country and nature. The aim of the research is to reveal the drying process of Lake Amik and how the effects after drying are reflected on the region with statistics and public opinions.
