In the first chapter a short biography of Debussy is presented and background information on the Prélude is given. The second chapter examines the formal outline of the piece, breaking it down into sections and segments; and lays out its harmonic and textural structure. The third chapter builds a segment-based template based on the second chapter’s analysis, and provides a measure-by-measure “conducting grammar“ of the piece.Bu tez Claude Debussy’nin “Prélude à l’après-midi d’un Faune” adlı eserini bir orkestra şefinin gözünden inceler ve eseri yönetmek için yönergeler sunar.
