It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 17-18).Kurtuluş Savaşı’nın ardından ülkenin kalkınması için birçok yerde fabrikalar kurulmaya başlar. Fransa’dan getirilen şarap uzmanın raporu sonucunda Trakya bölgesinde yetiştirilen üzümlerin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla Tekirdağ Şarap ve Rakı Fabrikası kurulur. Faaliyetlerine şarap üretimi ile başlayan fabrika, daha sonrasında konyak ve rakı üretim tesislerinin kurulmasıyla üretim alanını genişletir. Dönemin fabrika müdürü Avni Mutlu ve arkadaşlarının yaş üzümden özel formülle ürettiği rakı fabrikanın en büyük başarılarından biri olur. Bu rakı Tekirdağ Rakısı adı altında markalaştırılarak piyasaya sunulur. 2004 yılında Tekel’in özelleştirilmesi sonucu satılan Tekirdağ Şarap ve Rakı Fabrikası, daha sonra tamamen kapatılarak Manisa’ya taşınır ve seksen altı yıllık bir tarihi arkasında bırakır.After Independence War, many factories were established in all over the country. As a result of the report of the French wine expert, Tekirdag Wine and Raki Factory were established in order to evaluate the grapes grown in the Thrace region. The factory, which started its activities with wine production, later expanded its production area with the establishment of cognac and raki production facilities. Raki which is produced by the factory manager Avni Mutlu and his friends with a special formula from fresh grapes became one of the biggest successes of the factory. This raki was branded under the name of Tekirdag Rakisi and put on the market. Tekirdag Wine and Raki Factory was sold as a result of the privatization of Tekel in 2004.
