It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu anlatı yapılırken, girişimsel radyolojinin radyoloji ile farkı ortaya konularak, girişimsel radyolojinin tarihçesi ile uygulama alanlarına değinilecektir. Girişimsel radyoloji incelenirken, özellikle Türkiye’de ortaya çıkışını ve uygulanışını aydınlatmak hedeflenmektedir. Bu doğrultuda girişimsel radyolojinin Türkiye’deki öncülerinden Prof.Dr. Saruhan Çekirge ile görüşülerek bir sözlü tarih çalışması ortaya konulacaktır. Girişimsel radyolojinin avantaj ve dezavantajları ile geleceği hakkında öngörü amaçlanmaktadır.This article explains how interventional radiology emerged with developing technology and what kind of a process it went through in Turkey. While making this narrative, the difference between interventional radiology and radiology will be revealed and the history and application areas of interventional radiology will be mentioned. While examining interventional radiology, it is aimed to elucidate its emergence and application, especially in Turkey.
