Combined-field integral equation is introduced on the closed parts of the geometry to improve the iterative solutions. It is demonstrated that the convergence rates are significantly increased compared to the conventional formulation with the electric-field integral equation.EnglishIntegral equationsIterative methodsMultilevel fast multipole algorithmAlgorithmsProblem solvingComposite problemsElectromagnetismIterative solution of composite problems with the combined-field integral equationConference Paper10.1109/EUMC.2006.281281
