It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 15-16).Between 1934 and 1936, immigration took place from Romania to Turkey. The immigrants were Muslim Turks living in Romania. There were economical and political reasons behind this immigration movement. The Turkish Muslim minority has been discriminated in Romania. Turkish government has offered lands for the immigrants. Immigrants traveled to Turkey by ships. Several immigration agreement were signed between two countries. Immigration has taken place on illegal roads as well as legal ways. Immigrants have struggled with social and economic difficulties, with benefit from various rights when they come to Turkey. Immigrants scattered out a lot of different places in Turkey from the places that they initially settled.1934 - 1936 yılları arasında Romanya’dan Türkiye’ye kitleler halinde göçler gerçekleşmiştir. Göçmenler, Romanya’da yaşayan Müslüman Türklerden oluşmaktadır. Bu göçler ekonomik ve siyasal nedenlerden gerçekleşmiştir. Müslüman Türk azınlık Romanya’da ayrımcılığa uğramıştır. Türkiye’ye gelecek olan göçmenlere toprak verileceği söylenmiştir. Göçler deniz yoluyla gerçekleşmiştir. ülkeler arasında göç antlaşmaları imzalanmıştır. Göçmenler, Türkiye’ye geldiklerinde çeşitli haklardan yararlandığı gibi sosyal ve ekonomik zorluklarla da mücadele etmiştir.
