It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 16-17).Bu araştırma yazısı, Gureba Hastaneleri’nin kuruluşu ve bu hastanelerin devamı olarak görülen Numune Hastaneleri’nin kuruluşunu anlatmaktadır. Sonrasında dönemin sağlık, şehirleşme ve sosyal-devlet yapısı oluşturma politikaları sonucu kurulan Ankara Numune Hastanesi’ni ve Ankara Numune Hastanesi’nin ana binası olan İsmet Paşa Pavyonu’nun kuruluşu, modernleştirilmesi ve günümüze kadar yapılan önemli değişiklikler anlatmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu araştırmalar yapılırken dönemin ilgili kişilerinin hatıratları, devlet arşivleri ve konu üzerinde farklı disiplinlerde yapılan araştırmalar karşılaştırılarak bir sonuca varılmak suretiyle konuya objektif bir yaklaşım sergilenmeye çalışılmıştır.This paper aims to explain the process of Gureba Hospitals and Numune Hospitals, which is considered the successor of Gureba Hospitals. Later, the establishment of Ankara Numune Hospital and the Ismet Pasha Pavilion, which is the main building of the hospital, and how it is constructed as a result of the era’s health, urbanization and becoming a welfare state politics will be told.
