It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 28-30).Bu makalede; politik tiyatronun sanat ile ilişkisi, politik tiyatronun manifestosunun genel hatları, Ankara Birlik Tiyatrosu‘nun bu manifestoyla olan bağı ve yürüttüğü politik sanat mücadelesi, Ankara Birlik Tiyatrosu‘nun karşılaştığı sıkıntılar ve bunlara ürettiği çözümler incelenmiştir. Buna müteakip, Ankara Birlik Tiyatrosu‘nun kuruluşu ve kurucusu Zeki Göker‘in hayatı, Ankara Birlik Tiyatrosu‘nun oyunları ve yaşadıkları zorluklar, dönemin ve Ankara Birlik Tiyatrosu‘nun daha iyi anlaşılması adına Zeki Göker‘in eşi Gül Göker ile yapılan görüşme, dönemsel sıkıntılara farklı bir pencereden bakılması açısından tiyatro kurucularından ve oyuncusu Ender Yiğit ve Anadolu Sanat Merkezi‘nin kurucusu Ertuğrul Cerrahoğlu ile yapılan görüşme ele alınmıştır.In this article; the relation between theatre and art, the outlines of the political theatre's manifesto, the ―ABT-Ankara Birlik Tiyatrosu (Ankara Union Theatre)'s connection to this manifesto, and the political art struggle it carries out, the disturbances encountered by the Ankara Birlik Tiyatrosu and their solutions. In this context, examples are given of some of the significant theorists of political theatre, and then the previous period without ABT established in Turkey are included in the course of political theatre.
