It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 16-17).Bu çalışmada, Tülin Oğuz Kazanasmaz ile görüşülerek Türkiye’de eğitim alanında büyük etkileri olan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Yükseköğretim Kurulu incelenmektedir. Genel olarak YÖK’ün kuruluşu ve geçmişten günümüze yükseköğretim kurumlarının özerkliğine olan etkileri üzerinde durulmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, YÖK’ün kurulmasında kilit rol oynayan İhsan Doğramacı’nın özel kalemliğini yapmış olan ve YÖK’ün kurulmasında rol alan sayılı bireylerden biri olan Tülin Oğuz Kazanasmaz ile gerçekleştirilen röportaj merkez alınmaktadır.In this study, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), which has had significant impacts on education in Turkey, was examined through an interview with Tülin Oğuz Kazanasmaz. The study primarily focused on the establishment of YÖK and its historical and ongoing effects on the autonomy of higher education institutions.
