Ankara University Faculty of Divinity, which is the first faculty of divinity to be founded in the Republic of Turkey where varying and conflicting schools of divinity reside, has never lost its modernity and objectivity even though many academicians with differing opinions were hosted there. One such academician hosted by the faculty, İlhami Güler, is a divinity professor who specifically studies historicism. Historicism, which is one example of the relatively modern schools of thought in divinity nowadays and is mostly incompatible with other schools of thought in divinity, has affected many faculties of divinity including the Ankara University faculty of divinity, and it is also known to have even affected public opinion.18 pagesTurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikeAnkara İlahiyat Fakültesiİlhami GülerİlahiyatTarihselcilikModernizmAnkara University Faculty of DivinityDivinityHistoricismModernismİlhami Güler ve ilahiyatta modernizm ekolünün Türkiye’deki etkileriStudent ProjectSPB3894
