It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 65-71).Yedi Güzel Adam başlığı altında toplanan Mehmet Akif İnan, Alaaddin Özdenören, Cahit Zarifoğlu, Erdem Bayazıt, Nuri Pakdil, Rasim Özdenören ve Sezai Karakoç daha çok edebiyatçı yönleriyle tanınmış olmakla birlikte Türkiye'deki siyasal İslam'ın gelişimi için zaman zaman önemli isimler olmuşlardır. Ele alınan isimlerin 1958-1980 arasındaki siyasi faaliyetleri kendilerinin siyasi militan olmamakla birlikte İslamcı kültür ve siyasal kültür içinde yer aldığını göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada Yedi Güzel Adam'ın sosyal ve siyasi etkinlikleri ve ortaya koydukları yazınsal ürünler ile siyasi etkinlikleri arasındaki tutarlılık incelenmiştir.The members of the group known as "Seven Beautiful Men" includes Mehmet Akif İnan, Alaaddin Özdenören, Cahit Zarifoğlu, Erdem Bayazıt, Nuri Pakdil, Rasim Özdenören, and Sezai Karakoç, all of whom have been recognized mostly by their literary works but have also influenced the development of political İslam in Turkey. Although the members of this group are not political militans, their activities between the years 1958-1980 have shown how they have taken part in the İslamic and political culture of Turkey.
