It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. İncesu’nun asfalt yol altına alınması kanalizasyon olarak kullanılmasına da olanak tanıdı. Bu müdahaleler sonucunda, eskiden şehrin içerisinden geçen ve başkentin sosyal hayatında yeri olan İncesu deresi bugün ölmeye yüz tutan bir dere hâline geldi. Bu makale, İncesu Deresinin Cumhuriyet sonrasındaki tarihini, kapatılmasının toplum sağlığı ve şehir imarı açısından nedenlerini, toplum hayatına etkilerini ve üstünün geri açılması için yapılan çalışmaları inceliyor.İncesu River began to be closed in the 1930s during the construction of Ankara, and after the 1950s, most of it remained under the road as a result of the reclamation worksalong with other streams of Ankara. Placing İncesu under an asphalt road also allowed it to be used as a sewer system. As a result of these interventions, İncesu river, which used to pass through the city and had a place in the social life of the capital, has become a stream that is about to die today.
