It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Bu dönemde birçok Türk aydını yetiştirildi, bu kişilerden biri de Yaşar Marulyalı idi. 1931 yılında Mersin’de dünyaya gelen Yaşar Marulyalı, Türkiye’nin birçok önemli şehrinde hayatını sürdürdü. Bu şehirlerin mimari yapıları Yaşar Marulyalı’nın ufkunu genişletti. Çizimlerinde yaşadığı şehirlerin mimari üslubu ile modern çizgileri birleştirerek hem Türkiye’ye hem de yurt dışına sıra dışı eserler kazandırdı. Ortağı Levent Aksüt ile birlikte birçok yarışmada birincilik elde etti. 1980’li yıllarda Türkiye’ye Prefabrike Uzay Kafes Sistemi’ni getirerek Türkiye’de yeni bir dönemin başlamasına öncülük etti. Günümüzde, Yaşar Marulyalı UMO Mimarlık Mühendislik ve Müteahhitlik Müşavirlik Şirketi’nin ve USKON Uzay Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.’nin Yönetim Kurulu Başkanlığı’nı yürütmektedir.After Turkish Republic was founded, several innovations have been seen in Turkish architecture. Many important people have been raised in these years. One of them was Yaşar Marulyalı, who was born in Mersin in 1931. He lived in many different cities of Turkey. The architectural style of these cities has affected Yaşar Marulyalı in a good way. He used both traditional and modern approaches in his work. Thereby, he designed extraordinary masterpieces in Turkey and throughout the world. He participated in many different competitions with his partner Levent Aksüt and he won the first place in most competitions. He introduced new techniques to the Turkish architecture, such as prefabricated steel roof construction technology. Today, Yaşar Marulyalı is still active in business life.
