It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Öğrenciler Echo adı altında Türkiye’de ve farklı ülkelerde konserler vermişlerdir. Grubun üyelerinden daha sonra müzikte kariyer yapan ünlü sanatçılar bile çıkmıştır. Echo, günümüzde hala bir gelenek olarak okulun tüm sınıfları arasında sürdürülmeye, besteler yapmaya ve konserler vermeye devam etmektedir.The music group “Echo”, founded in the 1960s by the students of Tarsus American College, which was established in Tarsus, a district of Mersin in 1888, has become a tradition passed down from generation to generation among the students. Students performed concerts in Turkey and in different countries under the name of Echo. Later, even some of the members of the group got a career in music and became famous.
