It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Türk Musikisi alanında ünlenmiş sanatçılar, verilen konserler, besteler, o dönemi simgeleyen çalgı aletlerinden biri olan ud ile Türk Sanat Müziği büyük oranda gelişmiş ve gelecek nesillere de ışık tutmuştur. Ünlü bestekâr ve udi Hüsnü Üstün de bu yıllarda Türk Musikisine gönül vermiş ve Türk Sanat Müziğinin gelişimine katkı sunmuştur. Besteleri pek çok ünlü sanatçı tarafından seslendirilen Üstün, günümüzde Türk Musikisinin önemini yitirmesi üzerine bu alana tekrardan can olabilmek adına birçok öğrenci yetiştirmiştir. Gönüllü konserlere çıkan ve dersler veren bestekârın üç adet kitabı bulunmaktadır.Especially in the sixties, seventies and eighties, Turkish music was at the peak of its development. With famous artists in the field of Turkish Music, concerts, compositions, oud, one of the instruments symbolizing that period, Turkish Classical Music ha developed to a great extent and shed light on future generations. The famous composer and oudist Hüsnü Üstün also devoted himself to Turkish Music in these years and contributed to the development of Turkish Classical Music. Üstün, whose compositions are performed by many famous artists, has trained many students in order to revive this field after Turkish Music has lost its importance today.
