It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Fotoğrafçılık kariyerinden önce, uzun bir süre bankacılık sektöründe görev alarak, üst düzey bir mevki olan Teftiş Kurulu Başkanlığı noktasına geldi. Bankacılık kariyerinde üst düzey bir gelire sahip olmasına rağmen hayatından mutlu olmayan Cüneyt Oğuztüzün, aradığı mutluluğu fotoğrafçılıkta buldu. İnsanı, doğası ve tarihiyle Anadolu’ya olan sevdasından dolayı Cüneyt Oğuztüzün fotoğrafçılık kariyeri boyunca (birkaç proje dışında) sadece Anadolu’yu fotoğrafladı. Fotoğrafçılık camiasında “Anadolu’nun Belleği” olarak bilinen ve kendisini “Coğrafya Fotoğrafçısı” olarak tanımlayan Cüneyt Oğuztüzün’ün hayatı ve Anadolu’nun tanınmasına olan katkıları araştırılmaya değer bulundu.Cüneyt Oğuztüzün is a nature photographer who worked for Atlas Magazine from 1994 to 2014. Prior to his career in photography, he worked in the banking sector for a long time, became the chief auditor, which was a prestigious position. In his banking career even though he had a good income and a high life standard, he was not happy, later he found that happiness in photography. Cüneyt Oğuztüzün only photographed Anadolu because of his love for its geography with its people, nature and history.
