It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Dünya çapında ilgi gören Harley-Davidson markasının Türkiye’deki motosiklet kültürünün gelişimine katkısı araştırılmıştır ve Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) ismiyle dernekleşmesinin ardından motosiklet kültürünün daha organize ve düzenli bir hale geldiği gözlemlenmiştir. Bunların yanı sıra, 1960’lardan bugüne motosiklet kültürünün gelişmesine katkıda bulunan bireyler ve ailelerle yapılan röportajlar ile geçmiş ve bugünün evrimleşmesi, topluluklar ve etkinlikler arasındaki farklar birinci kişiler tarafından aktarılan anlatılarla desteklenmiştir.This article examines the importance of motorcycle culture in Turkey under the influence of Harley-Davidson with the development of the two-wheeled vehicle brought from abroad at the beginning of the 20th century. In the early and mid-1900s, when Turkey had not yet adapted to such a vehicle, the culture suddenly developed and the important motorcycle enthusiast visionaries who contributed to its development were mentioned. The contribution of the Harley-Davidson brand, which attracts worldwide attention, to the development of motorcycle culture in Turkey has been researched and; Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) It has been observed that motorcycle culture has become more organized and orderly with the association with the name.
