It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 18-19).Araştırma Cumhuriyet Dönemi ve sonrası Ankara’sında etkin olan İtalyan mimar Giulio Mongeri ve Mongeri’nin eserleri üzerinedir. Mongeri Ankara’nın inşasında hem önemli rol oynamıştır hem de Türkiye’nin birçok yerinde günümüzde de varlığını koruyan eserler yapmıştır. Birincil Ulusal Mimarlık Dönemi’nin önemli mimarlarını da yetiştiren Mongeri, bu dönemden sonra gelen mimarlık akımlarını da etkilemiştir. çalışmada, Damla Çinici’den ve Sedat Bornovalı’dan da yardım alınarak Mongeri’nin ve eserlerinin ülkemiz için önemini ve durumunu yansıtmak amaçlanmıştır. Giulio Mongeri’nin hayatı kişisel ve akademik olarak incelenmiş, daha sonra yaptığı eserler açıklanmıştır. Monger’nin yapıları teker teker incelenmiştir ve bu binaların analizleri yapılarak Mongeri’nin mimari varlığının ülkemiz için önemi yansıtılmaya çalışılmıştır.This article is about Giulio Mongeri who was an Italian arhitect and his buildings in Ankara in the Republic period. Mongeri played an outstanding role in the construction of Ankara, and also built structures that still protects their existence today. As the man who raised a lot of important arhitects of The First National Architecture Movement, he also affected the later architecture periods. This article aims to mirror the importance of the Giulio Mongeri and his buildings and their state with the help of Damla çinici and Sedat Bornovalı. Giulio Mongeri is examined through his personal and academical life. and then his buildings are explained.
