It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Türkiye ve Ankara’da metal müziğin doğuşu anlatıldıktan sonra ülke genelinde yer alan haberlerden, metal müzik kitlesinin ve daha da spesifik olarak Ankara’daki metal müzik kitlesinin bu durumlardan nası etkilendiğinden bahsedilecektir. Metal müzik konserlerinden, ilk metal gruplarından ve metal müziğin gençlerde nasıl bir yaşam tarzı olarak yer bulduğundan bahsedilecektir.Although metal music started to be performed worldwide in the late 60s, it started to be performed in Turkey in the early 80s. Ankara, as a capital of culture for metal music and the metal music audience, finds a special place for itself in this development process. After describing the birth of metal music in T33urkey and Ankara, it will be mentioned how the news in the country, the metal music audience and more specifically the metal music audience in Ankara were affected by these situations.
