It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 17-20).Geçmişten günümüze bakıldığında üflemeli enstrümanlardan biri olan klarnetin Türk Müziği’nde sıkça kullanılan çalgı aletlerinden biri olduğu görülmüştür. Bu makalede, klarnetin Türk Musikisi’nde önemli bir yere sahip olduğu ve bu nedenle tarihçesine bakıldığında dünyada ilk olarak nerede ve ne zaman kullanıldığı, Türk Müziği’nde ilk kim tarafından kullanıldığı gibi sorular araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, araştırma sorusu olan “Ünlü Türk klarnetçi Mustafa Kandıralı kimdir?” sorusu ve bu sorunun cevabı açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Mustafa Kandıralı ünlü Türk klarnetçilerden biridir ve klarnetin Türk Müziği’nde önem kazanmasına katkıda bulunmuştur. Kandıralı’nın klarnetle tanışması, sanatçılığının ilk yılları, şöhret dönemi, müziğe ara vermesi ve geri dönmesi, özel hayatı, vefatı, vefatının basına yansıması ve vefatından sonrası gibi konular detaylı bir şekilde araştırılmış ve makalede yer almıştır.Throughout its historical progress, the clarinet, which is one of the wind musical instruments, have been frequently used in the Turkish Music. In this article, matters such as when and where clarinet was first used in the World, its first accounts of integration into the Turkish Music culture and many more are investigated because the clarinet has a significant place in Turkish Music. Furthermore, the research question of “Who is the famous clarinetist Mustafa Kandıralı?” and its answer is being examined throughout this paper. Mustafa Kandıralı is one of the most famous Turkish clarinetists. He had contributed to clarinet gaining exceptional value in Turkish Music.
