It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Aysima Altınok, 1959-1992 yılları arasında ve sonrasında aktif olarak hekimlik yapmış ve sonrasında Türk Nöroşirürji Derneği’nin faaliyetlerinde yer almıştır. Türk Nöroşirürji Derneği, Türkiye’de gerçekleştirdikleri çeşitli organizasyonlar aracılığıyla ve nöroşirürjiyenlerin arasında köprü kurmasıyla Türkiye’de nöroşirürjinin gelişmesine katkıda bulunmuştur.Turkey's first female neurosurgeon Aysima Altınok, also known as the first Turkish Neurosurgical Society of neurosurgical societies, is also among the founding members. Being the first in this field was a situation that paved the way for her next female colleagues. She continued her active participation in the association between 1959-1992 and afterwards, when Aysima Altınok, who contributed in the field of neurosurgery, was actively working.
