It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 14).Cumhuriyet’in ilanından bu yana, ülkemizde birçok kez askeri darbe gerçekleşmiştir ve bu askeri darbelerin hepsi ülkemiz için büyük farklılıklara neden olmuştur. Hiç şüphesiz ki bunlardan birisi de 1980 askeri darbesidir. 12 Eylül 1980 askeri ihtilali sonrasında ülkemiz hem siyasi, hem hukuki, hem toplumsal hem de ekonomik alanda sıkıntıların yaşandığı bir döneme girmiştir. Ali Bozer ise başarılı bir hukuk hayatının ardından ülkemize bu sıkıntılı dönemde siyasi anlamda birçok katkıda bulunmuş bir hukukçu ve siyasetçidir. Bu proje kapsamında Ali Bozer’in çocukluğunu, eğitim hayatını ve siyasete girişini yakından araştırırken aynı zamanda da 1980 Askeri Darbe sonrası Türkiye’nin normalleşme süreci ve yeniden çok partili hayata geçiş sürecini detaylı olarak incelemeyi amaçladık. 1925 yılında doğmuş olan Ali Bozer, dönemin özelliklerine yakından şahit olmuş bir isim olarak projenin temelini oluşturmuştur. 1925 ve 1980 yılları arasında ağırlıklı olarak Ali Bozer’in kişisel hayatı araştırılırken, 1980 sonrası için Türkiye’nin değişim ve gelişim süreci ele alınmıştır.Since thefounding of theRepublic, therehavebeenmanymilitarycoups in ourcountry, all of whichhavecausedgreatdifferencesforourcountry.
