Aviation, in a general understanding, is flying with and working on man-made machinery. In this research paper, the role of women in Turkish aviation was covered by referring to the interview conducted with Emel Arman, the first Turkish female captain pilot who flew over the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, women’s role in Turkish aviation was examined starting from the first Turkish female pilots until now.26 pagesTurkishCreative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlikeTürk havacılık tarihiEmel ArmanKadın pilotKaptan pilotKadınTurkish aviationFemale pilotCaptain pilotWomenOkyanusları aşan kadın kaptan pilot: Emel Arman ve Türk havacılığında kadınStudent ProjectSPB3449
