Özellikle 1960’lı yıllarda Batı müziğinin etkisiyle Anadolu Rock türünün ortaya çıkması, bağlamanın evriminde bir dönüm noktası olmuştur. Bu dönemde elektrikli çalgıların popülerleşmesi ile bağlamanın elektro versiyonu geliştirilmiştir. Elektro bağlamanın tanınması ve yaygınlaşmasında Erkin Koray, Orhan Gencebay ve gibi sanatçılar öncü rol oynamıştır. Özellikle Erkin Koray, Anadolu Rock müziği içinde elektro bağlamayı ustalıkla kullanarak bu enstrümanı geniş kitlelere tanıtmış ve müziğine farklı bir derinlik kazandırmıştır. Elektro bağlama, geleneksel bağlamanın dokusunu koruyarak, modern teknolojinin sunduğu avantajlarla daha geniş bir ses ağına ulaşmıştır. Bu özellikleri sayesinde hem geleneksel Türk müziği icrasında hem de pop, rock ve caz gibi farklı türlerde sıklıkla kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu yazıda elektro bağlamanın tarihi süreci işlenecektir.The electro bağlama, as a modernized version of the traditional bağlama, has secured an important place in the world of Turkish music. Particularly in the 1960s, the emergence of the Anatolian Rock genre under the influence of Western music marked a turning point in the evolution of the bağlama. During this period, the popularization of electric instruments led to the development of the electro version of the bağlama. Artists like Erkin Koray, Orhan Gencebay, and Selda Bağcan played pioneering roles in the recognition and widespread use of the electro bağlama. Especially Erkin Koray, by skillfully incorporating the electro bağlama into Anatolian Rock music, introduced this instrument to a wide audience and added a different depth to his music.The electro bağlama has reached a wider range of sounds by preserving the essence of the traditional bağlama while leveraging the advantages offered by modern technology. Thanks to these features, it has started to be frequently used not only in traditional Turkish music performances but also in genres like pop, rock, and jazz.
