It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 15-16).1994 yılından günümüze dek kullanımda olan, şu an Özel İdare Binası ve iş merkezi olarak hizmet veren Kahramanmaraş İl Özel İdare Binası'nın tasarım süreci ve tarihi araştırılacaktır. Döneminde varolan hiçbir projeye benzemeyip, ciddi ölçüde çarpık kentleşmeye sebep olan bu yapı, Kahramanmaraş'ın bir nevi simgesi haline gelmesi ve internet üzerinde "Dünyanın En Saçma Binası" unvanına layık görülmesi sebebiyle araştırmaya değer olarak görülmüştür. Kahramanmaraş'ın kentleşme düzeninde bahsedilecek, projenin detaylarına ve halkın görüşlerine yer verilecektir. Projenin amacı Kahramanmaraş Özel İdare Binası'nın tasarım, sürecini, yapısında yaşanan problemleri, aldığı ünvanın tarihini araştırmaktır.Being in use since 1994, and momentarily acts as a special provincial administration building and trade center, this paper examines the construction reason of Kahramanmaras Special Provincial Administration Building, as well as the construction period and the history behind the building. This building was chosen as a research topic because, while being unlike any other project during its time, as well as not having connected with its environment aesthetically, the Kahramanmaras Special Provincial Administration Building became the symbol of Kahramanmaras, and slowly gained infamy on the internet as the "World's Most Ridiculous Building." Kahramanmaras's regional plan, details of Special Provincial Administration Building project and citizents thought will take place in the research.
