It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 14-16).Bu araştırmada, günümüzde faaliyeti devam etmekte olan Ankara için tarihi ve mimari açıdan oldukça önemli olan kiliselerinden Azize Teresa Kilisesi'nin tarihini, mimarisini ve Ankara'nın sosyal yaşamını nasıl etkilediğini incelemek amacıyla sözlü birincil ve ikincil kaynaklardan yararlanarak konu üzerine çalışılmıştır. Türkiye toprakları üzerinde hem Cumhuriyet dönemi öncesi hem de Cumhuriyet dönemi sonrası çeşitli millet, din ve diller her zaman var olmuştur. Bu var oluş, Türkiye'nin çeşitli yerlerinde farklı yerlerinde farklı dinleri, milletleri temsil eden birçok yapı ardında bırakmıştır. Kimisi hala aktif olarak faaliyetlerine devam etmemekle beraber, kimisi ise devam etmektedir. Katolik Azize Teresa Kilisesi de Ankara'da faaliyetlerine devam etmek olan, yabancı uyruklardan cemaati bulunan yapılardan birisidir.In this research, St.Teresa Church will be examined in terms of its history, architecture and affects on Ankara' social life with the help of oral and written sources. On the Turkey' territory both before the Republic period and after, various kind of structures left behind from the different nationalities, religions and languages. Some of them are not actively used, however, some of them contuniuning their activities.
