It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Yılmaz ailesinin adaptasyon süreci, ekonomik yaşantısı, kültürel ve sosyal hayatına değinilmiştir.The article aims to understand the migration from Bulgaria to Turkey in 1950-1951 with the example of the Yılmaz family. While analyzing this duration, the reasons for migration are clarified by the benefit of some written sources. In addition to that, an interview is done with Zehra Tok in order to be a witness to what the Yılmaz family had faced. Also, solutions for these difficulties are clarified. To understand this period in detail, the life of the Yilmaz Family before, after, and during migration has been examined.
