It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 21-22).Türkiye tiyatro tarihinde 1950 ve 1960'lı yıllar toplumsal sorunların öne çıktığı ve politik tiyatro örneklerinin en çok görüldüğü yıllardır. Belirtilen yıllar, Türkiye'nin dış dünyaya açılmasıyla birlikte yeni karikatür anlayışının da en etkin olduğu dönemdir. Altan Erbulak bu dönemde politik ve güldürü tiyatrosu, özellikle de karikatür alanında öne çıkmasıyla Türk mizahının bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Teknolojiye olan düşkünlüğüyle de bilinen Erbulak, karikatürlerinde siyaseti de işlemesi ile döneminin karikatüristlerinden ayrılmaktadır. Bu araştırmada Altan Erbulak'ın yer aldığı gazete haberlerinden, dokümanlardan, karikatürlerinden, kızıyla yapılmış röportajdan ve fotoğraflardan yararlanılmıştır. Bu kaynaklar doğrultusunda Erbulak'ın özel hayatı, sanat hayatı, teknolojiye bakış açısı ve siyasete yaklaşımı ele alınmıştır. 1950 ve 1960'lı yıllardaki yeni karikatür anlayışını, tiyatroya bakışı ve siyasetin sanata etkisini anlama adına dönemin başarılı sanatçısının hayatı ve eserleri bize yol gösterecektir.Turkey's historic theater in the 1950s and 1960s are known with social problems that were emerged and many examples of political theater have been developed. The specified years is the period that as Turkey is opening up to the World, a new understanding of cartoon has been developed. During this period, Altan Erbulak has become a part of Turkish humor with its prominence in the field of laugh and politic theater, especially in cartoon. Erbulak, who is also known for his devotion to technology, differs from the other cartoonists of his time with combining politics into cartoons. In this research, newspapers, documents, cartoons, interview with his daughter, and photographs will be used. With these resources, Erbulak's private life, art life, technological perspective, and approach to politics were discussed.
