It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 18).Bu yazıda havalimanı güvenliğinin ne olduğu, ne gibi önlemler içerdiği ve ne tür güvenlik uygulamaları yapıldığı incelenecektir. Ayrıca havalimanı güvenliğinin yıllar içindeki değişimi, gelişimi ve bu değişime sebep olan, yön veren olaylar anlatılmıştır. Türkiye’de havalimanı güvenliği faaliyetlerinin nasıl başladığı ve yıllar içerisinde nasıl geliştiği, bu gelişmelere hangi olayların sebebiyet verdiği incelenecektir. Son olarak, Türkiye’de havalimanı güvenliğinin gelişimi ve değişiminin detaylı olarak anlaşılabilmesi için, Türkiye’de ve dünyanın çeşitli yerlerinde, özellikle havalimanı güvenliği konusunda, faaliyetlerini yürüten TAV Özel Güvenlik Genel Müdürü, Turgay Şahan ve Esenboğa Havalimanı TAV Özel Güvenlik şirketinin Koordinatörü, Erdal Kaynak ile yapılan röportajlardan bahsedilecektir.In this paper, the purpose of airport security and its function and application styles will be examined. Additionally the changes and reasons of this changes in airport security and its progression will be mentioned. The reason behind why airport security was begun in Turkey and how it improved itself and lastly why these significant changes were needed will be discussed.
