It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 20-22).İzcilik gönüllü gençlere zihinsel, fiziksel, sosyal ve ruhsal açıdan destek olarak onların karakter gelişimlerine katkıda bulunan ve topluma yararlı bireyler olmalarını sağlayan uluslararası bir örgüttür. Bu araştırmada İzciliğin ne olduğundan, amaçlarından, Türkiye’de İzciliğin ortaya çıkışından ve gelişiminden, Türkiye İzcilik Federasyonun günümüzdeki çalışmalarından bahsedilmiştir. Türkiye İzcilik Federasyonu Türkiye’de İzciliğin gelişiminde ve benimsenmesinde önemli bir rol oynar. Türkiye İzcilik Federasyonu Avrupa’da en hızlı büyüyen izcilik teşkilatı olma unvanına sahiptir. Federasyon kurulduğu günden bu zamana kadar hem yurt içinde hem de yurt dışında birçok etkinlik düzenlemiştir. TİF’in etkinlikleri hala aktif bir şekilde devam etmektedir ve bünyesindeki izcilerin gelişimlerine ve eğitimlerine katkıda bulunmaktadır.Scouting is an international organization that helps the young volunteers to improve their personal developments in terms of physical, social, mental and spiritual aspects. This article will elaborate on what the scouting is, it’s purposes, how scouting exist in Turkey and its developments, Turkish Scouting Federation’s works in today. Turkish Scouting Federation plays an important role in development and adoption of scouting in Turkey. Turkish Scouting Federation has the title of fastest growing organization in Europe. Since the day it’s founded Federation has set up many events both domestic and abroad areas.
