It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Siyasete atıldığı ve milletvekilliği yaptığı dönemlerin siyasi yapısı hakkında genel bir değerlendirme yapar. Delikaya’nın milletvekiliyken yaptığı çalışmalar, Ecevit ve İnönü ile ilişkisi, üçüncü döneminde kendisini istifaya götüren süreç ve sebepler ve emeklilik sonrası hayatı ele alınır.This article explores the life of Mehmet Delikaya, a member of Great National Assembly of Turkey from 1957 until 1977 for four terms. It looks closely at Delikaya's early years in the village of Doğanşehir Sürgü, providing insight into his early years, schooling, and career aspirations. The article develops to examine his entry into politics, providing an assessment of the political environment during his terms as a politician and providing a thorough summary.
