It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (pages 14-15).1960 ve 1970’li yıllarda Adana’daki zengin sinema kültürü ve Sabri Şenevi’nin bu kültürdeki yerini ele almaktadır. Şenevi’nin çocukluk yıllarında başlayan sinema tutkusunun, onun hayatını nasıl şekillendirdiği anlatılmaktadır. Sinemaya olan sevgisi, makinistlik mesleğiyle pekişmiş, eski sinema makinelerine duyduğu ilgiyle birlikte daha da derinleşmiştir. Şenevi, topladığı bu parçaları bir sinema müzesine dönüştürerek, sadece kendi hikâyesini değil sinema kültürünü de gelecek nesillere aktarmayı amaçlamıştır. Günümüzde de sinemaya olan tutkusu sayesinde insanların bu kültürü ve deneyimi tanımalarını sağlamaya çalışmaktadır.The rich cinema culture in Adana during the 1960s and 1970s and examines Sabri Şenevi’s place within this culture. It describes how Şenevi’s passion for cinema, which began in his childhood, shaped his life. His love for cinema was reinforced by his profession as a machinist and deepened by his interest in old cinema machines. Şenevi aimed to turn the pieces he collected into a cinema museum, intending to pass on not only his own story but also the cinema culture to future generations.
