Patrimonial taints within the structure of public bureaucracy will be elucidated from a diachronic perspective. The thesis will elaborate the revitalization of patrimonialism in the first half of 1980s signified with Motherland Party’s seizure of power in 1983. The study shall exclusively cover major policy changes targeting a societal change by New Right policies and transaction between New Right policies and transformation of bureaucracy.
