It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 9).Seçkin Sarı uzun yıllar boyunca hekimlik mesleği icra etmiş ve Türkiye’nin askerî ve siyasi tarihinde önem arz eden birçok kişiyi ameliyat etmiştir. Bunun dışında tıbbi ataşelik, öğretim üyeliği gibi siyasi ve akademik açıdan da önemli mesleklerle meşgul olmuştur. Kıbrıs Harekatı’na sıhhiyeci olarak katılmış bir savaş gazisi olan Sarı, Ankara Hastanesi başhekimliği ve Sağlık Bakanlığında müsteşar yardımcılığı gibi görevlerde de bulunmuştur.Seçkin Sarı has practiced medicine for long years and he had performed surgery on people who have importance on Turkey’s political and military history. Apart from that, he engaged in being medical attache and assistant professor which are politically and academically important.
