It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.Includes bibliographical references (page 16).Adana Uluslararası Hastanesi tıbbi kurum olarak ABCFM misyonerleri tarafından Adana’da 1909 senesinde şehrin sakinlerine tıbbi destek vermek ve ABCFM’in birincil hedefi olan hristiyanlığı yaymak amacıyla kurulmuştur. Bu araştırma, hastanenin kuruluşu ve kurulduğu dönemde gözlemlenen durumlar hakkında detaylı bilgi vermektedir. Bu rapor ilaveten, ABCFM misyonerleri tarafından senelik olarak yazılmış raporlarda gösterilen hastanedeki ve Adana’daki durumlar ile ilgili unsurları analiz etmeyi hedeflemiştir.Adana International Hospital was a medical institution established by ABCFM missionaries in 1909 in Adana whose aim was to provide medical services to the locals and to assist in the ABCFM’s primary objective of spreading Christianity. This research paper gives us details about its formation and the externalities which were taken into consideration when building the hospital.
